Youri Tielemans has been crowned Aston Villa's Player of the Month for October. The Belgian midfielder took almost a third of the overall vote among Villa supporters, on the back of an impressive month in which he turned out five times for Unai Emery's side in all competitions. Tielemans started October with a starring 90-minute contribution on a memorable night at Villa Park, as the Lions recorded a famous Champions League victory over Bayern Munich. Another 90-minute display in a goalless draw at home to Manchester United followed four days later, before a player of the match showing against Fulham in the first game back after the international break.  At Craven Cottage, the 27-year-old got another 90 minutes under his belt in a 3-1 win, delivering an assist just before the hour mark, swinging a corner onto the head of Ollie Watkins who guided the ball past Bernd Leno.  Another assured midfield display came three days later in a 2-0 win over Bologna in the Champions League. Tielemans then completed October with 90 minutes against Bournemouth in the Premier League, before being rested for Villa's Carabao Cup meeting with Crystal Palace.  Villa's top three players in our October poll were: Youri Tielemans 33% Jhon Durán 22% Emi Martínez 19% Thank you to everyone who voted and congratulations, Youri!
